As is the custom on Chanukah, besides for lighting a personal Menorah, we also light a public Menorah in Shull (synagogue) every day of Chanukah.

In 770, Chabad Lubavitch headquarters (in Brooklyn) they use a 6' menorah, and its design is the same as the one used the Beis Hamikdash (holy temple) based on the drawing of the Rambam (Maimonides), obviously adding two branches so that it can be used on Chanukah.

In preparation for Chanukah, I decided to make my own Menorah using the same design, and use it in Shull.

And here it is.

As you can see, there are multiple different combinations of the model, so I'll go through it all and explain.

The first file is the whole Menorah, not very 3D printable.

Then there is a file with all the separate pieces that make up the Menorah (hopefully when you open it, it will still be in the shape of the Menorah), and the purpose of the this is for anyone who would like to make any changes or edits to the design.

And after that, should be a file with all the parts separated in the way that i printed them, and then each one of those parts in their own file. (Note: there is a “Middle” and “Middle split” because i had a lot of trouble printing it in one piece, even with the cone support that I added)

Lastly there is “T-Light Holder”. the way that I made the model, is that at the top where the candle goes, should be a removable piece so that I can change what type of candle is used later on and only need to reprint a few small pieces.

On the base middle and Shamish there are cone shaped supports that i added so that the model can be printed without any supports. They are easy to remove, but will leave a small mark as you can see in one of the pictures above.

If you make your own candle holder or any other changes to the model, I would love to see them in the remixes for this model. and if you make the Menorah please post a picture of it in the comments.

Enjoy! Moshiach Now!
