BACKGROUND
Our good old tree has been standing for a long time (10+ Years) now and even with a few broken bulbs, it's still looking great. Over the years though, I noticed that there is one thing wrong about the tree. The star can't light up. So this year, I decided to use my rarely used Xlight S1 from Makeblock to light the tree up.
SETTINGS:
Brim: Yes (2mm)
Speed: Depends on Printer
Layer Height: 0.2mm
Infill: Whatever
Walls: Whatever
FILAMENT:
Transparent/White PLA/PETG
BOM:
- RGB LED Strip/Controller
- Old USB Charger (If controller uses USB input) to connect into tree or other power source
- (OPTIONAL) USB Cable
(Remember this project is very flexible. It doesn't matter what parts you use.)
OTHER NECESITIES:
- Super Glue
- (OPTIONAL) Transparent Tape
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:
- Get Light pole and wrap LED Strip around it. Cut the light strip when finished.
- Super Glue the Holder onto the bottom of the Light Pole through the respective holes. Apply glue inside the holes and then Stick the holder in. Wait until cured.
- Attach star onto pole and it should center itself. At this step you can either super glue, use transparent tape, or just leave the star in place. If you super glue, you might not see the Leds again (unless…). If you tape… Well it looks a little uglier. If you leave it all by itself, it will still stay there unless violently shaken.
- Ur Done!!!
ENJOY YOUR STAR
I WISH IT WILL ADD A LITTLE LIGHT TO UR NEW YEARS.
