This is a simple spool holder I made for my Ender 3 V2 that uses 6mm airsoft bbs as ball bearings. It's easy to assemble and has lasted a long time. I make NO claims about how useful it will be to other people, but it works just fine for me. No, your airsoft bbs don't have to be glow-in-the-dark like mine for it to work, it just makes it infinitely cooler. I only used 10% infill, 1 wall, and connected infill lines, and it seems to be strong enough, but it'd probably be safer to print with slightly stronger settings. It works great for reducing friction from my spool. Feel free to report any issues with the spool holder you encounter. I'm confident that I've made this, “final” version effectively perfect for my needs, but I also don't have unique requirements. I've ONLY tested it with 1kg spools, NOT 3kg spools. It'll probably work on other machines with stock Ender 3 V2 brackets, but chances are, there are better options than mine on the market. I just upload models that I actually use for myself. I've got tons of other ideas with airsoft bearings, but I haven't made any models of them yet, so chances are someone else will beat me to them. Big sad. Oh well, I can't think of anything else to type here, so I'm done with this description. Bye!
Why yes, I DO like my own models. I have no shame. :)
