Train and Locomotive keychain

This model can be used to print matching keychains for your friends. With the instructions custom names should be possible with the help of the free version of fusion360. 

I printed in PLA, with the model standing on its wheels and support under the bottom. I would recommend a slow starting speed for the initial layers with the wheels in it. Due to their small size these have a tendency to not stick well to the bed. After these initial layers are passed, you can continue in your normal printing speed.

Instructions for CUSTOM names:

1. Download the .zip file which contains two .igs models, which are used to create custom models.
2. Open the .igs model in Fusion360, by clicking open in the left top and then “Open from my computer”.
3. Click new sketch and click the bottom of the model.
4. In “Design” mode, click on create and choose text.
5. Zoom in on the bottom of the train and click on the squares within the wheels
6. Make sure the text is oriented in the correct writing way from the beginning (being in the length of the train). This is easily done by rotating the train so you look at it in the way you want the writing to appear (train on its side). 
7. Enter the name you want on the bottom and change the letter type to arial black. Make sure the alignment is set to the middle (ALL CAPS IS EASIER ON PRINTER).
8. Click “Extrude” under solid → create, then enter a distance of -1 mm (basically a cut).
9. Click on the file in the top left, choose export and export the file as an .stl, which can be used to print. 

It could happen that the writing is not oriented correctly. Fix this my zooming out and moving the sides of the textbox to the right position, by doing this while zoomed out the sides should be easier to snap to the correct position. You could also restart, since this is an annoying problem to encounter and easier fixed by doing it right from the beginning.
