Instructions for Printing and Assembly of License Plate Mount
Printing Instructions
- Orientation: Print the model in its current orientation for optimal strength.
- Recommended Print Settings:
- Layer Height: 0.2mm.
- Extrusion Width: 0.4mm (forced).
- Infill Percentage: 40%.
- Infill Type: Grid, Gyroid, Honeycomb, Triangle, or Cubic.
- Wall Count: 4.
- Solid Top/Bottom Layers: 5.
- Supports: None required.
Materials Required
- Bolts:
- 2 x M3 6mm or 8mm Hex Socket Cap Screws (for the back side).
- 2 x M3 8mm or 10mm Hex Socket Cap Screws (for the front/plate side).
- Heat-Set Inserts:
- 4 x M3 inserts, 6mm length (max) or shorter. (M3*5*4/6)
Assembly Instructions
Print Preparation:
- Download and print the license plate holder model from @MatanErman_323412.
Installing Heat-Set Inserts:
- Insert 2 heat-set inserts into the nut locations of the license plate mount.
- Note: The depth of the inserts will determine the required screw length.
- Insert 2 heat-set inserts into the pole mount bracket.
Pre-Assembly:
- Attach the license plate holder to the pole mount bracket using screws.
Final Mounting:
- Press the assembled holder onto the metal pole.
- The holder is designed to grip the pole on its own, allowing for easy adjustment and alignment.
- Once positioned, secure the mount by tightening the final screws.
