Deutsche Beschreibung s. u.
I don't know if there is any need for another set of printable jaws. Nonetheless, since I didn't find here what I exactly needed I made a couple myself and provide the files here.
Jaws for widths of 100, 120, 140, 160, 180mm are available here. In the first place they are made for the Heuer front series but probably fit many more vices. You can also create your own by customizing (see below).
Features
size customizable
holes for magnets customizable
horizontal and vertical grooves: count, depth, and angle customizable
corrugation: yes / no
recess for clamping flat parts customizable
The uploaded .stl files are for magnets with a diameter of 10mm and a thickness of 2mm.
If you install the magnets in opposite orientations, you can store the jaws attached to each other as shown in the photo: Press the magnets into one of the jaws (the orientation doesn't matter), place the other magnets on top, place the second jaw on top and carefully press the whole thing together in a vice so that the magnets are pressed into the second jaw.
Customization
You can use the Customizer view in OpenSCAD (Window -> Customizer) to create your own jaws. You can also modify the source code even further to fit your needs.
Printing
Layer: 0.2mm
Material: I am fine with PLA, PETG might be better
Support: no
Infill: 100%, I usually set the perimeters wide enough to avoid infill
If you find my designs useful, you might consider buying me a coffee. But of course, you don't have to - my designs are free and always will be.
Deutsch
