Minimalistic Corinthian Table Lamp #1

Table lamp with sinusoidal wave as structure:

Materials needed:

-spool of matte white pla (i used e-sun)

- m4 bolt and nut

- 4 screws

- superglue 

- light fixture e27 (https://www.amazon.nl/-/en/ledscom-pieces-textile-switch-socket/dp/B093WWWW3F?th=1)

- (smart) bulb (dimmable is nice)

Print instructions:

There are 3 print files.

Base: 

- print with normal settings

-.2mm layer height

- Choose infill depending on the preference of the weight of the lamp.

Bottom (print upside down) & Top:

- Vase mode

- .12mm layer height (can also do .2, but it will show)

- .7 mm layer width(i used .4mm nozzle)

- 230 c

- 60 c hot plate

- 8 bottom layers

- 30 mm/s bottom layers

- 250 slow layers (orcaslicer setting)

- 100mm/s max speed

- Dont slow down for overhangs

Assembly:
1. Due to vase mode there is no cutout for the wire in the Bottom part. There is a small ofset of the surface where you need to cut it out, use a small metal saw to cut this tab out.
2. screw the top and bottom parts together. Screwing from the shorter side works the best
3. Mount the light fixture onto the base, and use the m4 bolt to keep it in place. DONT overtighten the nut, this will cause the print to break. (it is possible to do this step at the end, however, tightening the bolt will be quite hard)4. glue the base to the screwed together lamp.Final tip:Make sure your 3d printer is on a steady surface and the spool is side mounted (deffinitly not on the top). Due to the sinusoidal nature of the surface, a lot of vibrations will occur. Any resconance will cause artifacts in the overhang.
