Allows perfect focus of the LP4 at 150mm, without the use of the shield or a ruler etc. Very helpful for odd items, angles, curves, etc.
It is also easily removable without having to ruin your focus - just slide it off the side of the lens.
*make sure it is fully seated against the lens. This is designed to fit very snugly so you don't have to hold it during setup.
