Pocket Sliding Utility Knife

this small utility blade is super thin and has rounded edges all the way around making it disappear in a pocket. The main design principal being that if it easy and convenient to carry there is a higher chance you'll have it on you when you need it. Features a keychain loop, grippy slots for easy actuation, ergonomic nubs to ensure a strong grip, and a easy to use snapping lock. 

Print the following:

1X body v2.stl

1X slide v2.stl

Instructions:

depress the round button on the slide flexture to allow it slide into the body. while the slide is half way inserter into the body, place a utility blade in its corresponding spot. insert the slide further into the body so the button clicks into one of the two positions. you can push the button on the flexture to move the slide from one position to the other, or push it further to remove the slide from the body to reload it.

after hearing that people were having fitment issues I double checked and confirmed the files were not sized correctly. I have uploaded a new version of the slide that should have a much better fit.

after working with the print over a month I have made some small changes to the body to make the blade have less slop and gave more relief for the retainment peg tracks. additionally added some chamfers to the slider to keep the sharp edges from over extruding. this is to help the slide have a smooth action
