The MBB BO 105 is a twin-engine, lightweight helicopter developed in Germany in the 1970s by Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm. It was the first helicopter to feature a rigid, hingeless rotor system, offering exceptional agility and aerobatic capabilities. Known for its versatility, the BO 105 has been widely used in roles such as search and rescue, medical evacuation, and military operations. With a top speed of 270 km/h and a range of 575 km, it remains a reliable and innovative design, with many still in use today despite production ending in 2001.
Printing Info
There are two versions you can print, one with a rotating main rotor and one with a fixed one, both with and without a sprue. You can also print all parts seperatly. Happy printing!
Building Info
When you print the not-fixed version, the rotor might be stuck initially. Attach it to the fuselage and then wiggle carefully back and forth till its loose.
