We purchased a Thermoforge T3 heater by AC-Infinity in order to run some experiments in a controlled environment.
Unfortunately, the device can only heat up air from outside the grow tent. This leads to a periodic cycle where the Thermoforge T3 would heat up cold outside air, creating dry hot air inside the grow tent. Then, the humidifier would kick in, which would cool down the air inside. This induced an excessive power consumption (over 300w average with 40W grow lights) and an oscillation on both humidity and temperature.
The adapter modifies the device to intake air from the growth tent itself, fixing the issue.
The passive cooling of the device is not affected.
