Printing:
This spice rack is an easy print without supports. The parts are already oriented. It holds 10 rectangular glass spices containers(45x45x109 mm).
There are three plates: RACK-01 (front + mid) - print that 2x and RACK-03 (back). The back has quite long bridges (35 mm) but newer printers will not have a problem with it. Maybe just slow done the printer a little.
The RACK-06(legs) are no problem I just glued it with super glue in place but it is not necessary.
Last thing to print are RACK-04(bolts) and RACK-05(spacers) there is a space for 12 bolts and 24 spacers but I only used 7 bolts and 14 spacers and it is enough.
- If you want to test the tolerances there is a test print. Print that and one of the bolts. If it is too tight or too loose, just scale the bolt accordingly. Scale it in XZ or XY direction according to orientation of the bolts on your build plate. It was quite tight fit for me but a little bit of lubricant made it perfect.
For all of the parts I used 2 perimeters, 4 top, 4 bottom layers, layer height of 0,3 mm, 15% infill.
That is as much as 60% filament saved in comparison to other racks I found here.
