Desktop stand for Loupedeck Live.
The raised base is optional and the stand is mounted on it after removing the magnetic feet.
In addition to the printed parts you need:
- 4 M3 threaded inserts (+ soldering iron for inserting)
- 4 M3 screws
- 2 zip ties (3.5mm)
- round magnets 8mm in diameter for 8/12 holes (I used 2 with 1mm thickness for each hole) - see below
- glue (something to fill the hollow parts - e.g. modelling clay)
For a better idea of how to put the parts together, check out the photos and pictures of the model unfolded.
I filled the hollow parts with modeling clay from hobbymarket to make them heavier and sit better on the table. The lids of the hollow parts are glued on, as are the loupedeck-bracket and loupedeck-bracket-back. The whole thing is then connected with loupedeck-case-back-top with zip ties.
The loupedeck-case-back-bottom, base-top and loupedeck-feet parts have holes for circular magnets (2mm height, 8mm diameter; I used 1mm thick magnets, i.e. 2 in each hole).
The loupedeck-bracket has a piece of self-adhesive furniture pad on it (see picture).
I glued rubber pads on the legs and raised base to keep the stand from sliding on the table.
