Cherry Blossom Bookmark - HueForge

Hello Printables makers,
this is my first model. I am a new designer with an ever growing model base. I am now trying to gain a foothold in printables, I would like to offer my models here as well.

This is my first upload. I like to work with HueForge, so it has also become such a model. :-)

It is a bookmark in the size 44x160mm. It needs only 3 colors.

Various print profiles are included (Prusa & Bambulab). Manual Instructions for other Printer are below. Also manual Prusa Slicer Config in the Gallery. If your Printer are present in “Files”, you can use the GCode or 3MF. At least you can use the STL and go with the manual Instructions.

Printing tips
- Do not simplify the model.  

- Dont scale the Z-Axis, otherwise the color layers no longer fit. Apart from the Z-axis, the model can be scaled as desired.

- If a message regarding stability issues appears, this can be ignored. (Standard from a HueForge export)

- Use Filament change in slicer. (Manual Loading same Filament Type) - or use a profile in "Files" if present.

Other colors can also be used, this is entirely up to your creativity. However, there is something to bear in mind -> Filament Guide.

Filament Guide
The ideal filament PLA and PLA+ (glow also possible if suitable)
Only use PETG if you want to create a glossy effect on one color layer.

PETG, Silk and Matt filaments let very little light through, so you have to test this for each model. These filaments can be used for the final colour change for a finish.

About this image
The image used was created by myself. After creation, pre-processing, post-processing, it was scaled up and processed in HueForge.

It's a bit too thick for a simple bookmark, but it's still worth every print, I put more emphasis on the 3d effect here. Subsequent bookmarks are much thinner.

Using a 0.4 Nozzle

IMPORTANT -> Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.08mm with a base layer of 0.16mm

Better Save this as a Print Setting, for future Prints.

Filaments Used:
PLA Jayo Black Transmission Distance: 0.5
PLA Sunlu White Transmission Distance: 7.2
PLA Sunlu Red Transmission Distance: 5.8

This print uses 3 unique filaments

Swap Instructions:
Start with Black
At layer #7 (0.64mm) swap to White
At layer #15 (1.28mm) swap to Red
At layer #21 (1.76mm) swap to White for the rest.
