I never saw it as a problem, but my daughter complained that the washer basin would smell musty when it hadn't been used for a few days. So I made this simple prop that fits over the interlock tab on the lid. Glue some magnets on it to store it on the side of the washer. PLA is just fine.
I did it with a 15% gyroid infill and some supports in the recessed open end.
