Bondtech BMG Lever Arm
I modeled the lever arm as well as the entire BMG extruder in Fusion360 in order to upgrade it and keep the secondary hobb gear from falling off the lever arm every time you opened the extruder. I am sure many of you find this as annoying as I do. I have modified the main body as well, fixing the side pin held in by the “sticker”. I will release the rest of the extruder at a later date when finished.
Bondtech prints their extruders with SLS, but that doesn't mean you can't print them with FDM or resin.
I printed this in PPS CF, 100% infill, 0.2LH, no supports. Print in any stiff material, doesn't need to be carbon fiber.
You will need a M2.5-3mm drill to chase the holes depending on the fit you wish.
Do not use insert from Bondtech, they are unreliable. Use double chevron aftermarket, 5-8mm preferably.
