Simpe rubber grommet clip for Mosaic Palette2 PTFE tube that can used on the Bondtech LGX-Lite extruder.
I use it on a RatRig v-Core 3.1-400 with standard EVA toolhead. It can be screwed on the extruder and may prevent the PTFE tube from disconnecting or bending to much on large moves.
It does not block extruder gears for manual manipulations but the filament grip selector cannot be used at the maximum position. If you need to print with TPU, you may have to do a little cut in the piece.
Printing
- Orientation: same as in the file for stronger resistance to toolhead movements
- Supports: only from buildplate
- Perimeters: 3 minimum, 4 recommended
- Filament: PETG
Installation/Usage
- Install the rubber grommet into the bottom hole with the recess as show in picture
- Remove plastic PTFE locking piece from the extruder (keep it safe!)
- Place the clip on the side of the extuder
- Extruder has 3 unused M3 screwholes, one on top, two on right side
- M3x100 screws can be used to secure in place
- Do not tighten too much top screw as it may bend the clip
- Place the PTFE tube through the top hole and secure it in the rubber grommet
- Remove it after use and put back in place the PTFE locking piece from the extruder
