Mystery cube Sticky Note Holder

Design Choices:

The original plan was to just to measure the question mark and all of its angles, to give a layer of distinct precision. however this just ended up being extremely tedious and it was easier to just trace the sketch, and this made it a lot more accurate.

Originally, We were just going to extrude cut down so it would only hold one pack of sticky notes but then had the realization that since this wonderful creation was a cube, it was the perfect shape to hold many sticky notes,and we extruded down so it can fit up to 8 packs of sticky notes.

This project helped open our eyes to the delete keep feature. Especially with the creation of the question marks, as we were stumped how to make it a separate color from the rest of the cube. But delete keep let us use two different filaments for the cube and solved our problem. The question marks were saved as a separate part as the main box, and both are linked above.

We decided to use a multi-color filament to give it the same  childish feel as the MarioKart of your childhood, and along with this we printed the actual cube with the corner being on the ground making the colors almost look like they were radiating through it rather than just rings stacked on top of each other

We decided to use a circular pattern  for the question marks rather than just sketching multiple because then we could make it uniform and almost hypnotizing feel to it.

The decision to filet every single side  everywhere was in the hopes to give it a smoother feel and to make it look almost sleek in its design
