This is the Hypostim from Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. I modeled it to be printed in resin, but it will probably work with an FDM printer as well. In addition to the three STL files, there are two SVG files for adding the details after painting the main colors:
DXMD_Hypostim_Frisket_Mask.svg is intended for laser-cutting a frisket mask for airbrushing on the “Stimjector” graphic. If a laser cutter is not available, use an X-Acto knife with a fresh blade, cutting just outside the outlines of the letters to create the mask. I recommend using high-tack, laser-compatible frisket film; you may wish to create two copies, one for each side of the Hypostim, so you can mask off both sides and apply paint in a single session. Laser settings (Glowforge Basic):
- Letters: 1 pass, speed 518, power 50
- Outer rectangle: 1 pass, speed 204, power 15
DXMD_Hypostim_Labels.svg should be laser-printed on clear waterslide decal sheet. Trim close to the printed areas, and affix as in the photos (one barcode goes on each side).
Modeled in Blender, printed in Sunlu ABS-Like resin on an Anycubic Photon Mono X.
