I put heavy cardstock in my swingline coil binder and the mechanism broke. After I opened it up and looked at the pieces I found that the handle mechanism was the cause. Judging by the fact that this was the only plastic piece in the binding mechanism—the rest was metal—and it is used under pressure I believe this was designed to fail. I recreated and printed this part in Polyterra PLA+ at 0.2mm and haven't had issues with it yet.
