Case for preventing the chain wear indicator from being accidently bent and reading good chains as worn chains.
The case uses a filament hinge.
Includes a outline of the indicator to house it with the inverted image on the lid for stuffing foam to cushion the tool but mostly for looks.
Includes a small compartment for a chain with a known wear value for double checking if the tool is bent.
