I wanted to use a custom body I found for another variant of my RC car. I have an H16E deerc which is an mjx hypergo clone. My car did not have the same mount points that the custom body needed so I modified this front shock tower to support an attachment which let me connect this shell.
I had to also modify a real body post model, which i will upload separately. The custom body I used is: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6729898
The model is 2 files, 3 parts. First print the shock tower and then the connector. Snap the 2 parts of the connector together and screw in a 10mm M3 bolt from the bottom so that it sticks out from the top. Jam the top of the T part into the slot in the rear of the shock tower, attach the shock tower to the car body. The connector should sit on top of an empty screw hole in the car body. You can also attach it there using a very long M3 bolt.
