Have a broken band for Xiaomi Smart Band and no replacement at home? The 3D printed band buckle is too thick, angular and hurting your arm? Here is a comfortable and fast solution! I tried to search a 3D printable parts for the problem, but instead I created this. It only uses one side of the strap, so it doesn't touch your skin and if it would, the edges are rounded so it doesn't hurt. The assembly is self explanatory:
1.-remove the original pin from the band,
2.-pull the strap through the 3D printed replacement loop with the stud facing inward and reinstall the original pin,
3.- I plugged the stud to the closest hole from the original (but broken-torn) loop for better gripping, but feel free to do otherwise,
4.- adjust the band size to your wrist with the original pin.
I tested it with bands for model 4-7 and fits well.
Print settings:
I recommend using 0,15 layer height for 0,4 nozzle and using 100% infill. The model has a bottom part (as oriented in .stl) for better bed adhesion. I recommend using supports!
