This is a severely cut down version of the BeamCase "one-side" fan mount.

These are very useful for installing side panel fans into beamcase, where there may already be some obstructions in the corner (such as other fans) perpendicular to the fan you're installing as a side panel fan.

The bracket cannot be removed without removing the fan, so attachment to the bracket is a little different than usual.

Rather than screwing “into” the fan with the included fan bolts, this mount uses a countersunk M4 screw to go straight through the fan corner holes and then screwing directly into the plastic mount on the other side. The hole is sized exactly so that the M4 should self tap through the holes in the mounting piece.

At minimum, you'll need an M4 with a total length of the fan depth + 2mm. For example, on a conventional 25mm fan you would want an M4 with a total length (head included) of at least 27mm.

I've included STLs for some common fan sizes (92x14, 92x25 120x15, 120x25, 140x25). I'm also including the openscad file if you want to feed your own parameters in to create new mounts of your own with different feet heights, fan thicknesses etc. The openscad file requires having the BOSL2 library installed.

For each size there are also versions with “feet” at 10mm and 20mm heights, which are helpful when the corner is already occupied by an existing fan using the beamcase slot-in fan bracket.
