The original locking part of the frame binding can loose the four protrusions that lock it in place if too much force is used in very cold conditions.
The part should be printed in ABS or similar with 100% innfil for maximum strength. Do test that the binding releases the boot before the part breaks.
To replace the rear holder bracket must be removed from the ski and this part inserted from the bottom while the handle is in the rear position.
