I had the best results with TPU. It is designed to be printed threads up without the need for supports. For my prints, I used the default print settings for the print, but made the neck with the threads solid. I used .2 print height and the threads still came out fine. You may want to add a brim to hold the pieces in place. This was designed for a 3 ¼ inch x 2 ¼ inch gutter. It went on my gutter fine with just friction, but I designed slots in it so a clamp can be added. Please let me know of any recommendations you can think of.
