I wanted a simple shelf to use when I'm up on my ladder. This design is sized for the steps on a 15.5ft Krause folding ladder (and unfortunately is perhaps 5 degrees too steep). It provides holes for hammers, as well smaller holes for screwdrivers and a slot for a prybar. It also has a deep pocket for random tools or parts, and a smaller pocket for (smaller :-)) parts.
It works very well, and is very stable. It requires a large format printer, like an Original Prusa XL or a Creality K2, given it's width. I designed it to print on a heavily modified M3D Promega (→ShadowMega→RadZ). I've considered making a thinner version that could be printed even on an Original Prusa Mini, perhaps next time (if I decide I need to fix the 5 degree tilt).
This version uses stabilizers on the sides, which drove the width requirement. A thinner version might require a different stabilizer, or perhaps stabilized on only one side.
