I modified the MK8 (original Creality) hotend baseplate to fit the Trianglelab TZ E3 2.0 Bambulab clone hotend. Changes i've made:
- Because the TZ is deeper (14.5mm) then the MK8 (12mm) i've made the baseplate (only in the location the hotend mounts to) 1.206mm thinner to make the hotend line up with the original location for the nozzle and the location of the PTFE tube.
- Changed the text on the front of the baseplate from ’MK8' to ‘TZ E3 2.0'.
- Removed the text ‘MK8’ from the bottomside of the base plate.
No other changes have been made.
I asked Robert Lőrincz (the original designer, also original designer of Orbiter and other projects) and he saw no issues with my modifications. All the design credit goes out to Robert for his great work for the community.
