New parts to compliment the excellent model created by Cameron: Fully Printable Pottery Throwing Gauge I recommend using his improved “Gauge Bolts Stronger STLs” for the bolts
All preferred parts designed to be printed in Flex. I used Filatech FilaFlexible40 and had great success. TipBolt added in separate file for convenience; may be printed in PLA
Gauge Arm Bolt Jaw helps secure body to basin. Press fit after insertion. Helps to keep bolt with unit. I adjusted bottom layer to 4 solid layers, 3 vertical shell perimiters minimum, and made infill 30%
Washers greatly improve security of arms while preserving longevity of threads. Flex Washer 18.5mm diameter with 8.5mm hole. 100% fill
Update: New Gauge Base Washer added for connection to “gaugebase” as interior dimension is larger
Modified Gauge Tip for those who like to go right to the thrown object. Allows tip to flex and not dig into object as deeply
