In an era long ago, when facism and racism (wtf, world) were still not done, I bought a Leatherman Tread (22mm) to connect to my Smartwatch(20mm), but it never happened.
After 10 years, due to 3D printing, I am finally able to connect these two and make both more usable. Though you do lose a lot of links, so I guess it's more brutal fashion then super usefull.
There is a model from someone else around for the LT version.
Printing and orientation depends on the material. Petg can be done ‘standing up’, which I prefer normally. However with Nylon (PA+PC) the supports were too difficult to separate from the model nicely, so I layed the pieces down..
I reused the watch pins, the screws are sorta self tapping… The construction is holding on my wrist for a couple of weeks now..
