A few years ago, I went through a "wandmaking phase" where I was modelling and printing a bunch of custom wands that combined my love for Harry Potter and various other franchises; I had originally planned to sell them, but thought it'd be better to share the files for free should you wish to own any of my designs for yourself. :-)
This wand was an attempt to make a design based around the “Slytherin” house from Harry Potter, without outright copying the “house mascot snake wand” sold in “The Making of Harry Potter London”.
From my old notes, I apparently based the hilt's design off of a “cool sword with triangular grip” that I saw in “the museum”…cheers past-me for the SUPER detailed notes. Not that you imagined I'd want to remember the exact inspiration for my design… -_-
Files provided are for the basic wand; as well as split for ease of printing. To match the green spiral seen in the photo, I coiled some blue painters tape down the length of the shaft, then used green acrylic paint to add the spiral on after printing.
