Designed to replace a box that was destroyed in shipping so that no matter which way the box is turned or shaken the parts won't escape their respective cells.
The holes on the top correspond with the length of the threaded component of the bolt so it is easy to sort them into their correct lengths and the numbers label that length.
Should accommodate all standard M3 bolt sizes up to 40mm.
