What?
Anti-sag solution for the XFX Merc 310 Radeon 7900XT GPU, replacing the Z-support bar that ships with it. Known compatible with the Fractal North, but is case agnostic, and should work with other XFX cards from the same lineup.
I've included the Step file, so tweaking the dimensions and screw hole placement should be trivial if you have a similar card.

  • Screws onto the mounting plate at the front of the card with 3 m3 screws
  • Pulls away from the card a bit to give it more leeway
  • Includes cutouts to improve strength and airflow
  • Array of m4 screw holes for mounting to case
  • prints nicely w/ Fuzzy Skin for better grip
  • Indentation on side for M4 heat-set insert if you need to mount perpendicularly to the other m4 points
  • Finger Loop to help carry/handle the card during install

Why?
The included Z-bracket  didn't fit in my case (Fractal North) without running into the front intake fans, and repeats the same weak mechanical join the card uses. We're just a dozen mm away from the front of the case, so let's anchor it there instead. Cantilever → Wontilever.

Assembly
 - With chamfered side facing you, screw plate A onto end of GPU with 3x m3 screws. An 8-10mm in length should suffice.
- Install GPU into PCIe slot
- Screw in pci backplate to secure GPU
- run m4 screw through fan mounting rail, around point B, secure in place with m4 hex nut. A rubber grommet can be added at the - attachment point to the case to further prevent vibration.

Print Considerations
This was printed at 0.2mm height on a 0.4 nozzle using Bambu's "TPU For AMS" for the body, and PLA as a support interface.

  • A PETG would also work well
  • A high shore hardness TPU will give us some vibration dampening for free, on top of being heat resistant and nigh indestructible. I'd aim for a higher infill percentage (25+%) moreso to give it rigidity than durability.
  • Don't use PLA for the body. In warmer climes, temps inside the case may soften the print, and PLA's sudden failure mode will be more harmful to the GPU than that of PETG or TPU.
  • Use at your own risk, bring your Microcenter Warranty, YMMV, etc. etc.

Can be printed with minimal supports vertically, at the cost of losing the Fuzzy Skin feature.
