My spouse, a saint of patience and robotics education, teaches a class of nearly thirty middle schoolers the wonders of circuits and coding. With that many bright young minds (and hands!) eager to tinker, her classroom was starting to look like a Micro Bit explosion. That's a recipe for chaos, not creation! So, I put on my maker hat and designed a nifty little storage solution to bring order to the electronic mayhem.
This 3D-printed rack neatly organizes all thirty Micro Bits, keeping them safe, sound, and ready for action. Each slot is numbered for easy identification. I'll admit, the numbers aren't the most visually stunning in a single color, and they are a tad on the small side. But hey, sometimes you have to make small sacrifices for the greater good (and to keep the overall size compact).
Bill of materials:
150g (approx.) of filament (I used PLA)
Printing:
Really easy print. Just print the in the orientation provided.
Layer height: .20 mm
Infill: 10%
Assembly:
None needed! Just place the Micro:bit into the slot.
