This is a remix of a Spinning Turok 2 Razorwind. I modified it so it can be printed in separate pieces that does require any multi-color support on your printer. I also split the main hub into two pieces so you don't need a raft or a lot of supports to print it. Instead each half can lay flat on the print bed.
You'll need to print 12 blades, 11 Plain_Bosses, and 8 Arm Accent Insert Halves. Everything should be printable without supports with the exception of the Center Accents and the Pawl_Boss. For the Pawl_Boss I used normal snug supports. It will take a little work but you should be able to pull the supports out of the center with some pliers. I didn't use supports for the blades, though I did use a brim.
Assembly is done with glue. I would suggest dry fitting all parts before glueing.
- Glue the Ring Accents into one half of the Hubs.
- Glue the small Arm Accent Halves into the slits on each hub. It's a tight fit so some trimming may need to be done depending on your elephant foot compensation.
- Glue the two Hubs together using the ring Accents as guides for the alignment.
- Glue the Bosses together (including the Pawl_Boss) into two semi circles (6 each).
- Fit the the two semi-circles of Bosses around the hub being mindful that they are oriented so the Pawl_Boss allows for the ratchet to work to make the blades spin. Then glue the two semi-circles together.
- Glue the Blades onto the outside of the Bosses so they slightly overlap each other and cover the entire outer wall of the Bosses.
