Cheap microscope arms like this come with a 40mm ring. This adapter enables microscopes like the Mustool G1200D to fit in the holder.
The 40mm ring i got is 40.1 mm so I made the adapter 0.5mm wider for a snug fit so it technically is a 40.5mm to 35mm adapter.
