Our lab uses gridfinity for organizing our research 3D-printers, and we finally made a base for 20ml vials that we use for storing resin, solvents, and samples. The base has holes for magnets that hold firm to the optics tables that the baseplate is mounted onto, meaning that we don't accidentally knock anything over.
Not all four magnets are necessary for holding the vials normally, but we added four holes for more rigorous applications. If the magnets don't fit super well, a drop of glue helps, but we added a slit to pry them out to reuse between models.
