After scouring the internet for a good box cutter and testing out other models, I set out to create a small box cutter that would allow me to breakdown the massive number of boxes from shipments I go through. I needed something that would handle the heavy duty string-enforced tape, and not quickly dull. After designing two other models and testing them out, this is the result. I printed this without supports and the result was surprisingly good. I tested this on a LOT of boxes and it didn't rapidly dull or break like other models I tried. Also, in the slicer, I added a modifier (cylinder) over the edge of the blade and set that to print 100% infill on the edge. I printed and tested this in a standard PETG, but I'm curious to hear other peoples results with other filaments. I'd be happy to improve on this if anyone tests and comments. Make sure you know how to use this... I pull it out when I want to start the rip. Once it's started, you can usually drag it along the edge until you come in contact with a new strip of tape that needs to be ripped. If you are having trouble, you may need to print this with a smaller millimeter head and slow it down or use fine sandpaper to smooth out the edges. Thanks!
