Notes:
- Print two rings
- PLA will likely warp in a dishwasher. PETG will likely not. However, either may contain constituents that may come adrift during dishwashing and may be carcinogenic. Therefore, it would be safer to hand wash.
- CAP thread will perform better at 0.1mm. If your slicer has variable layer heights, use this feature.
Post-Printing
- Clean off excess plastic with a knife, needle file and sandpaper.
- If you want the tamper to feel heavy, fill the barrel with ball bearings, sand, plaster or the like. Then seal tightly.
- Screw on rings keeping the flat edge closest to the barrel end. The ring is designed to come in contact with the lip of the portafilter to limit pressure
