This Picatinny Rail Seed Development Kit is a CAD-ready model of Picatinny-spec rail that can be quickly adapted and customized to virtually any length or style. The model isn't a usable tactical rail without modification, but it facilitates the easy creation of pre-dimensioned rails.
This file was an early exercise in dimensioning and constraints. Earlier versions weren't “seeds” at all but small lengths of rails drawn as a whole. I later discovered the rectangular pattern tool in Fusion and figured it would save some time to model only a portion of rail that could be repeated and combined into a larger rail as needed. For example, I drafted a Picatinny stock point for the X-Shot Pro Fury X using this seed (linked below).
