New version 2 of my duct is live, I have adjusted the spacing where the heatsert goes and closed the front. The fan should fit snugly onto the colums where the heatserts sit. Then you use 2 m3x16 BHCS to secure the fan. Much cleaner and tighter fit over all. I print mine with voron spec 4 walls 5 top 5 bottom and %40 gyroid or crosshatch is my preference.
In the images I have posted the black shroud is the new v2. I have included a few pictures of how I install the magnets as well, yes you may see a tiny crack around the hole that is ok I have yet to have one fall out.
After breaking the fan posts on every single redesigned toolhead cover I could find I was fed up. So I removed the posts all together and instead put a spot for heatserts. use a m3x4x5 heat sert and an m3x16 shcs to mount the fan. No more broken posts and the fan is much more secure as well! Use normal manual snug supports only at the entrance to the duct. See updated pics for referance.
