This holder is a practice proven design with useful features for daily work.
Features:
- Stackable: Stack spools with little room in-between.
- Flexible: 100 and 130mm spools supported (spools with lower diameter too)
- Practical: Change spools while leaving all holders in place.
- Structural: Build wire sequences with multiple spools in a few seconds
- Easy build: Print two holders, one core and mount them together
- Low BOM part count: 2 holders, one core and 2 M3x12 (or longer) counterbore bolts
Assembly:
100mm and smaller spools holds by slots in the rails snappers. No need of bolted mounting. Just screw counterbore bolts into the core, stick core in the spool and snap all together to the slots. Bigger spools must put to the core while mounted with bolts to the rail holders
Hint:
Mount spool to same winding direction, easier to work with.
