I recently purchased an MI100 for my lab now that they are pretty easy to find on sites like ebay. There are a few different models on the internet for the MI25/50 but the shroud is a slightly different shape on the MI100 and tons of air would leak out around the shroud instead of flowing through the card. So I ended up designing my own cooling duct to try and keep this card cool.

I had a 120mm Noctua industrial 3000 RPM fan, and a couple of Artic 40mm high static pressure fans on hand. If I ever decide to switch to 80 or 92 mm fans, I will post those models here as well.

Both shrouds require at least two m3x6 screws in order to secure the shroud to the back of the MI100. I have holes for all 4 threaded holes on the back of the MI100, but have found that two screws (one at each corner) is enough to keep the shroud securely in place.
