This version can be 3D printed with FDM printer . I printed this in Prusament PC Blend Carbon Fiber on a Prusa MK3s with a hardened nozzle and it worked well.
Important: You will need an 1/16 SAE Allen Wrench. *** Not a 1.5mm metric - It won't work for several reasons ***
Cut the 1/16 SAE Allen Wrench to 15-16 mm ( I used a small Dremel cutoff wheel to cut and grind off any burrs)
Printing recommendations that worked for me
1 - Print it slow with no speed over 40 mm/s
2 - Increase Elephants foot compensation to .5mm
3 - Print orientation is with the hex opening up
4 - Use supports, .2mm detachable
5 - Increase perimeters to at least 5
6 - Increase infill to al least 50%

Assembly Instructions that worked for me:
1 - Remove encoder assy (lots of videos available on that)
2 - Remove the broken wheel, use the 1/16" Allen to clear out any plastic from the last wheel in the rotary encoder
3 - Test fit the 1/16" Allen that is cut down to 15mm in the scroll wheel. it should stick out 4-5mm when fully inserted and should be snug.
4 - Pull the 1/16" Allen out of the wheel after test fit
(note: you will probably need pliers to pull it back out)
5 - (optional) I put a tiny dot of super glue into the hex opening of the new wheel and then wiped off any excess
6 - Put the wheel into the assy and hold it aligned with the rotary encoder
7 - Gently insert the 15-16mm piece of 1/16" Allen through the rotary encoder and push it into your new scroll wheel.
(note: there should be ~1mm or less of the 1/16" Allen sticking out past the rotary encoder when fully inserted.)
