I found this thread with people having the same issue as I do and re-modeled this part with my (very limited) knowledge in CAD.
After printing and installing the clam the display is as firm as it was when I bought the printer.
I would sugges printing it upright, with the big hole going through vertically to ensure strength in the critical ‘hook’ part.
