The original model was easy enough to print, but had too tight of tolerances for me to easily attach and remove inserts. I also was also having issues due to my wildly uneven bed, despite mesh bed leveling, which caused some elephant footing which made tolerances even more variable. This revision maintains distance between hexagons to ensure that already designed attachments will fit.
Added 0.2 mm tolerance to the hexagon openings and added 0.75 mm fillet to front edge of openings to account for horizontal expansion of first few layers.
Designed to fit within a 150mm x 150mm area, so should work even on smaller print beds.
Printed with PETG on modified Longer LK4:
- Layer Height: 0.2 mm to 0.3 mm
- Adaptive Layer Height enabled
