It started simple.. I just wanted to reorder some PLA (the Filament by Spectrum) and discovered they had a refill version that is supposedly Bambu compatible. For that, they had their own version of that beloved two piece master spool which would be also compatible and looked like a modded version of the original to me (beginner, don't have a Bambu printer).
I liked their hexagonal pattern, but was bothered by their logo interrupting it and just wanted to remove and replace it continuing the pattern. This turned out easier said than done, because after importing the stl in fusion, my MacBook froze every time I tried to do anything with it because of the thousands of triangles in the mesh. No tutorial or conversion helped significantly, so I searched for a clean, workeable fusion 3d model and found none. Everyone seems to just modify the existing stl files somehow… (feel free to enlighten me on this :D)

Anyway, I got down the rabbit hole of remodeling the whole thing by just taking measurements on the stl mesh, building a solid body version and overlaying both to check if I was correct. I think I was very careful doing that and it took quite some time, so I thought maybe someone could use this, too.

The stls I uploaded are mainly so you can see the blanks and the versions I created from them, which you will find in the fusion file. I made one that looks like the hexagon pattern from Spectrum and one with the many times seen standard hexagonal pattern.
Those are examples, but the main thing would be the two blanks for any modification you'd like to come up with.

I'm curious to see if this is helpful to anyone else and what you will do with it.
Also if anyone could confirm it is working with the Bambu system, so I can change the description accordingly if necessary, I'd appreciate it.
