A SolidWorks model that allows you to create an easy Gridfinity bin of your size choice, ready for modelling on top of.
I have made this as the model NoahT has uploaded kept giving me a warning for being a student version of SolidWorks, so I designed a part using my professional SolidWorks 2024 license. I also didn't need the stackable lip and would rather just have a flat base to model off of.
HOW TO USE:
- To change the number of bays the model occupies, right click on the “equations folder” (Image 2) and click “Manage Equations”. A pop-up box will appear (image 3), go ahead and alter the values in "image 3" that are enclosed in the green box.
- To alter the magnet tolerances, edit the one feature ("EDIT: For magnet size and depth") that makes it clear you can edit it, and simply change the dimensions of the sketch associated with this cutout.
