TamBee 6" Hidden Hinge Router Templates

I wanted to install some doors with hidden hinges, and while I found the TamBee hinges online, the biggest complaint was the lack of directions.  Sure enough, the directions were abysmal, with dimensions being completely off. 

So, I designed these so that I could quickly and effectively add the TamBee 6" hidden hinges.  I used a Flush Trim Plunge 1/2 Diameter x 3/4 x 1/4" Shank bit for the deeper section (Like this one: https://www.amazon.com/Amana-45475-S-Carbide-Tipped-Bearing/dp/B00286RMB4) and a mortising bit with 1/2-Inch Diameter with 1/4-Inch Shank for the shallow sections (Like this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001FD7K86).

There is an indentation for screws to hold these in place.  I suggest a #6 * ¾".

My methodology was to take a pre-measured piece of wood for spacing between the hinges.  This can be used on both the door and the frame.

I allowed for an additional 1/8" on the frame side, making the door sit 1/8" lower than the frame.

I then screw in both of these templates.  This is needed since the screws are equally distanced apart on both templates, allowing you to move one template to the other spot without having to remeasure.

I then use a forstner bit to remove a lot of the wood from the deep section of the template.

I then use the plunge bit to route out to the depth of the door hinge.

I move the second template to where I routed out the deep section and use the shallower bit to remove the shallow part of the hinge.

This allows for the hinge to sit flush  in the door or frame.
