Overview
The RangeVault FlexBand is a fully parametric, 3D-printable ring designed for everyday carry (EDC). Whether you need a perfectly fitted wedding band, an ultra-light gym ring, or a durable alternative to metal rings, this design lets you create any size ring, including in-between sizes, with precise adjustments.
Custom Sizing – True Ring Sizes
This Fusion 360 file allows you to generate any ring size with just two parameters:
- Ring_Size – Set your exact size, including half and quarter sizes.
- Ring_Type (Men/Women) – Adjusts width/thickness proportionally.
Everything else, including thickness and width, automatically recalculates to maintain proper proportions.
The inner diameter will match real-world ring sizes, ensuring an accurate and comfortable fit.
Included STL Files
Includes several standard ring sizes as STL files for quick printing.
- If your size is included, simply load the STL and print.
- If your size is missing and you're unsure how to use the Fusion 360 file, just ask.
You can also use the provided project files as a guide for print settings. Just replace the STL with the size you want to print.
Print Settings
- Material: TPU (95A recommended)
- Print Speed: Slow (~20-30 mm/s) to ensure a smooth surface and prevent stringing.
- Layer Height: 0.2 mm for 1st layer and 0.1 for the rest
- Infill: 100%
- Cooling: On, to avoid deformation.
